Your Candidate Experience
What to Expect When You Apply
A clear process helps candidates decide whether the role and our working style are a good match. We focus each conversation on the responsibilities published for the position, the experience a candidate can demonstrate, and the questions both sides need answered before moving forward.
The Hiring Process
After an application is reviewed, selected candidates may be invited to an initial conversation about relevant experience, communication style, and interest in commercial finance. Depending on the role, later steps may include a discussion with the hiring manager or a practical exercise tied to everyday work. The number and timing of steps can vary by position. Candidates receive instructions for each scheduled stage and have an opportunity to ask about priorities, expectations, and the work environment.
Learning and Development
New team members learn the systems, terminology, documentation standards, and customer or partner workflows connected to their role. Development continues through feedback, coaching, collaboration, and exposure to real business scenarios. Growth depends on individual performance, business needs, and available opportunities, so we encourage employees to build strong fundamentals, seek context, and take ownership of accurate, timely work.
Your First Weeks
Our work moves quickly and requires careful follow-through. Teams coordinate across sales, client service, underwriting, operations, partnerships, and marketing to keep information clear and requests moving. Employees should be ready to prioritize, document decisions, protect confidential information, and communicate early when something needs attention. During the first weeks, the emphasis is on understanding the role, asking useful questions, and developing reliable working habits.
Before applying, review the individual role page and consider examples that show how you solve problems, organize details, communicate with customers or colleagues, and follow through on commitments. Come prepared to discuss what you have learned from past work and what you hope to develop next. Review the role description before your interview. Choose two or three examples from past work that match the position. Be ready to explain the problem, the action you took, and the result. Note the systems, customer situations, or document workflows you have handled. Bring questions about daily priorities, teamwork, and how success is measured. This preparation helps both sides decide whether the role is a good fit.
